Cómo eliminar tu cuenta y tus datos
Aplica a la app MeowScanAI en Google Play
Opción 1 — Desde la App (recomendada, inmediata)
- Abre MeowScanAI en tu teléfono.
- Ve a la pestaña Ajustes ⚙️.
- Toca Eliminar cuenta.
- Confirma la eliminación.
✅ Esto elimina de forma permanente: tu cuenta, tus datos de mascotas, historial de escaneos (incluyendo fotos analizadas), vacunas, citas y medicamentos, tanto del dispositivo como de nuestros servidores (Firebase).
Opción 2 — Por correo electrónico
Si ya no tienes acceso a la App, escríbenos desde el correo con el que registraste tu cuenta a soporte@meowscanai.lat con el asunto "Eliminar mi cuenta". Procesaremos la solicitud en un máximo de 30 días y te confirmaremos por correo.
Qué se elimina y qué se conserva
- Se elimina: cuenta, correo, nombre, mascotas, escaneos, fotos analizadas, vacunas, citas, medicamentos.
- Puede conservarse temporalmente: registros técnicos anónimos y datos que la ley nos obligue a retener (por ejemplo, registros de facturación de Google Play, que gestiona Google).
- Suscripciones: eliminar la cuenta NO cancela automáticamente tu suscripción; cancélala en Google Play → Perfil → Pagos y suscripciones → Suscripciones.

How to delete your account and data
Applies to the MeowScanAI app on Google Play
Option 1 — From the App (recommended, immediate)
- Open MeowScanAI on your phone.
- Go to the Settings ⚙️ tab.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm the deletion.
✅ This permanently deletes: your account, your pets' data, scan history (including analyzed photos), vaccines, appointments and medications, both from the device and from our servers (Firebase).
Option 2 — By email
If you no longer have access to the App, email us from the address you registered with at soporte@meowscanai.lat with the subject "Delete my account". We will process the request within 30 days and confirm by email.
What is deleted and what is kept
- Deleted: account, email, name, pets, scans, analyzed photos, vaccines, appointments, medications.
- May be temporarily kept: anonymous technical logs and data we are legally required to retain (e.g., Google Play billing records, managed by Google).
- Subscriptions: deleting your account does NOT automatically cancel your subscription; cancel it in Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
